To be a Blessing and Forging Ahead

Genesis 12 - 1: 3 TLV

Then Adonai said to Abram,

“Get going out from your land,

and from your relatives,

and from your father’s house,

to the land that I will show you.

2 My heart’s desire is to make you into a great nation, to bless you,

to make your name great so that you may be a blessing.

3 My desire is to bless those who bless you,

but whoever curses you I will curse,

and in you all the families of the earth will be blessed.

Have you left the spiritual Land of your forefathers? Have you moved away from the generational iniquities and sins that have plagued your family for years?

Have you answered the call of the Lord to move into a new land? To leave slavery with joy and dancing like the Israelites did when leaving Egypt?

Are you a blessing to the families of the earth, starting with your own?

Like Balaam, are you only saying what the Abba is speaking?

Blessing instead of cursing, even when asked to curse. Commanded to curse. Bribed to curse. How easily people would curse thinking "they are only words" and then bring devastation. We do it easily enough for free.

How much more would we do it to get paid?

Certain movements in the political and moral space say "words are violence."

Funny enough to dismiss until you understand that, in part,. they are correct.

The things you think in your heart are true enough. The things that you give form to and space in your mind are enough to have committed that very thing you think of.

Lust. Anger. Hatred. Pain. Disdain.

True enough to be in danger of hell fire.

Yeshua is EXTREMELY clear about this.

Matthew 5 - 27:30

27 “You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall not commit adultery.’ [f] 28 But I tell you that everyone who looks upon a woman to lust after her has already committed adultery with her in his heart.  29 And if your right eye causes you to stumble, gouge it out and throw it away! It is better for you that one part of your body should be destroyed, than that your whole body be thrown into Gehenna. [g] 30 And if your right hand causes you to stumble, cut it off and throw it away! It is better for you that one part of your body should be destroyed, than that your whole body go into Gehenna.

Is there a part of your body causing you to sin?

Probably your mouth.

Are you speaking of gossip, assassinating peoples' character behind their back? To their face? In your heart?

Or does your tongue spit poison and fire every chance it gets?

James 3 - 5:18

5 So also the tongue is a small member—yet it boasts of great things.[a] See how so small a fire sets a blaze so great a forest!  6 And the tongue is a fire.[b] The tongue is a world of evil placed among our body parts. It pollutes the whole body and sets on fire the course of life—and is set on fire by Gehenna.

7 For every species of beasts and birds, reptiles and sea creatures, is tamed and has been tamed by mankind.  8 But no human being can tame the tongue. It is a restless evil, full of deadly poison. [c] 9 With it we bless our Adonai and Father, and with it we curse people, who are made in the image of God. [d] 10 From the same mouth comes blessing and cursing. My brothers and sisters, these things should not be.  11 A spring doesn’t pour out fresh and bitter water from the same opening, does it?  12 My brothers and sisters, can a fig tree produce olives, or a vine produce figs? Neither can salt water produce fresh water.

13 Who among you is wise and understanding? By his good conduct let him show his deeds in the gentleness of wisdom.  14 But if you have bitter jealousy and selfish ambition in your heart, do not boast and lie against the truth.  15 This is not the wisdom that comes down from above, but is earthly, unspiritual, demonic.  16 For where jealousy and selfish ambition exist, there is disorder and every evil practice.  17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, open to reason, full of mercy and good fruits, impartial, not hypocritical.  18 And the fruit of righteousness is sown in shalom by those who make shalom.

Read it again.

Genesis 12 - 1: 3 TLV

Then Adonai said to Abram,

“Get going out from your land,

and from your father’s house,

to the land that I will show you.

2 My heart’s desire is to make you into a great nation, to bless you,

to make your name great so that you may be a blessing.

3 My desire is to bless those who bless you,

but whoever curses you I will curse,

and in you all the families of the earth will be blessed.

God's heart. His DESIRE is to bless YOU.

To make his people great so that YOU may be a blessing.

To bless those who bless you.

To curse those who curse you. Or as Yeshua brings up, to forgive those who we have forgiven. As we ask for forgiveness in the same way.

Repent, for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand.

Repent for cursing people and their identities from our feeble seat of judgement.

Repent for not stepping up into being the blessing Abba intended for you to be. For believing lies about Abba and about yourself.

You are made worthy by the blood of the most perfect human (Literally God made flesh).

You are desired by the most high to be lifted up(not in the  wealth sense but to be CLOSE to GOD.)

YOU are his INHERITANCE.

YOU are his heart's greatest desire.

To know him like he knows you.

To love him like he loves you, because he loves you.

Pray for the understanding to move from head knowledge to heart knowledge.

No more wallowing in sorrow.

Time for strength to step out in faith knowing WHO you are and WHAT he created you for.

Because only YOU can do that on this earth and the earth needs you to walk in fullness in your true identity.

As God intended.
