Today pray for an out pouring of the Holy Spirit for your community.
There is a move of God happening and is, in my opinion, because people are hungering for the Lord.
Are you hungering for Abba? Just wanting to bring him praise and seek his face?
Or do you hunger for the things of this world? More money, more stuff, better car, better computer....
The list goes on.
Today, make the effort to try and change your hunger towards the Lord (And keep it that way).
Psalm 34:12-23
Come, children, listen to me:I will teach you the fear of Adonai.13 Who is the one who delights in life, and loves to see good days?14 Keep your tongue from evil, and your lips from speaking treachery.15 Depart from evil and do good.Seek shalom and pursue it.[a]16 The eyes of Adonai are on the righteous, and His ears are attentive to their cry.17 The face of Adonai is against evildoers,to cut off the memory of them from the earth.18 The righteous cry out and Adonai hears, and delivers them from all their troubles.19 Adonai is close to the brokenhearted, and saves those crushed in spirit.20 Many are the distresses of the righteous, but Adonai delivers him out of them all.21 He keeps all his bones—not one of them is broken.[b]22 Evil kills the wicked—those who hate the righteous will be held guilty.23 Adonai redeems the soul of His servants—no one who takes refuge in Him will be held guilty.
Matthew 5:1-12
Now when Yeshua saw the crowds, He went up on the mountain. And after He sat down, His disciples came to Him. 2 And He opened His mouth and began to teach them, saying,
3 “Blessed are the poor in spirit,
for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
4 “Blessed are those who mourn,
for they shall be comforted.
5 “Blessed are the meek,
for they shall inherit the earth.
6 “Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness,
for they shall be satisfied.
7 “Blessed are the merciful,
for they shall be shown mercy.
8 “Blessed are the pure in heart,
for they shall see God.
9 “Blessed are the peacemakers,
for they shall be called sons of God.
10 “Blessed are those who have been persecuted for the sake of righteousness,
for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
11 “Blessed are you when people revile you and persecute you and say all kinds of evil against you falsely, on account of Me.
12 Rejoice and be glad, for your reward in heaven is great! For in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you.”[a]
